Skin Cancer Types
Basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma, with diagnosis and treatment plans tailored to you.
Full-body skin checks, biopsy, and Mohs micrographic surgery for basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma.
Overview
One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, and the vast majority are highly treatable when caught early. At PS Dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment is one of our deepest specialties. Our board-certified dermatologists perform full-body skin exams, biopsy suspicious lesions, and treat all three major skin cancers: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
For cancers in cosmetically or functionally sensitive areas, we offer Mohs micrographic surgery, the gold standard for skin cancer removal, with cure rates above 99% for primary basal cell carcinomas. We also help patients understand and monitor pre-cancers like actinic keratoses and atypical moles, and we partner closely with your primary care team.
